My work explores femininity, consumerism surrounding feminine products, and reclaiming female bodies in the art world. I think about the cultures that create myths surrounding women’s body image and exploring the space of women painting women.

I experiment with feminine products, paint, and the female form to observe how consumerist brands capitalise on perpetuating damaging messages surrounding women’s bodies. The materials embody how women’s products become personified, speaking the pressures of consumerist brands. I use the space of women painting women, reclaiming our bodies.
