In my work I explore the nuances of ‘the family.’ Family dynamics are the unspoken cornerstone to our social understanding, our experience of the world and fundamental to ourselves as artists. I use family photos as a foundation to my work, as they offer glimpses into fleeting moments in time. I revisit these moments in my work and re-present them through fictional scenes that capture the implicit meanings within.
