My work has been inspired by the importance of documenting family history. I have always been informed about my widespread Jewish heritage from Poland, Holland, and India. Before the Second World War most of my family had not immigrated over to England yet, so it was only when my grandparents were born that my great grandparents moved due to the circumstances that were present.

Using past documents, letters and photographs I have been inspired to create my own body of work that past tribute to my family history. My work should urge people to ask questions to older generations in their lived before it is too late.

While history is a past moment, to learn from it we must be reminded about it in the present. The films should be used and passed onto generations to come to ensure these stories are not forgotten.
