Angelika is a Greek Cypriot multidisciplinary artist who grew up in North London and is now based in Leeds. She completed her Art and Design Foundation diploma at Leeds Arts University and studied BA Fine Art with Contemporary Cultural Theory at the University of Leeds.
Her work is predominantly inspired by nature, specifically looking at the entanglement of trees, patterns found in natural forms and the calming/meditative experience that can come from being in green spaces. Angelika’s exploration of nature’s entanglement seeks to understand the connection of all things living, and by focusing on patterns found in plants and trees, she aims to represent the cyclical beauty of the natural world.
Mediums of her practice include video works, photography, ink drawings, screen prints and installation pieces.
